Tamie Marie Fields writes essays and poetry. Her current project is a lyrical memoir titled Even the Song Birds about growing up in a commerical salmon setnetting family on a small island in Alaska. She has been published in Stonecoast Lines, terrain.org, and Cirque Journal, and has read on KQED. She has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction from the Stonecoast program at the University of Southern Maine and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
